About Soul Spring
We are a DBHDS-licensed residential provider rooted in Southwestern Virginia, dedicated to creating homes where adults with IDD and complex needs feel genuinely safe, respected, and valued every day.
Soul Level Safety
Soul Spring Homes has been providing structured, medically informed residential support since 2012 for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, specializing in individuals with higher acuity needs such as mobility limitations, complex medical conditions, and behavioral risks.
We are committed to enhancing quality of life while creating a level of safety that is felt at the core — what we call soul level safety — through consistent routines, proactive risk management, and person-centered care.
Our trained and competency-validated DSP team delivers hands-on daily support including medication administration, aspiration precautions, and full ADL assistance, while coordinating with nurses and healthcare providers for clinical oversight. We maintain strong partnerships with families and case managers through responsive communication and audit-ready documentation, ensuring each individual receives safe, reliable, and meaningful support in a home-like environment where they can truly feel secure and valued.
"We started Soul Spring because we saw how much quality care and consistency truly matter — especially for individuals with complex needs. We wanted to build something that goes beyond basic support. A place where people feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for every day. What drives us is knowing that the environment we create can bring real stability, comfort, and dignity to the individuals and families we serve."
Our Core Values
Safety First
We build environments where safety is not a checklist — it is a felt experience. Every protocol, every routine, every trained response exists so that individuals and families can rest easy.
Person-Centered Always
Every individual we support has a unique story, preferences, and goals. Our care plans are built around the person, not the diagnosis — honoring who they are, not just what they need.
Medically Prepared
We specialize in high-acuity individuals that many providers cannot safely support. Our DSP team is trained, competency-validated, and clinically coordinated to manage complex medical needs daily.
Family Partnership
Families are not bystanders — they are partners. We maintain responsive communication, transparent documentation, and open-door relationships so families always know their loved one is safe and valued.
Accountable to the Highest Standards
Real Moments. Real Lives.
These are the individuals we are honored to support — out in the community, enjoying meals, shopping, spending time with family, and living full, meaningful lives.
